Hockwold Hall, Norfolk, is a former regal residence occupied by Princes, Knights, Earls and Politicians. The site is noted in the Domesday book making it almost a millennium in age. The current building was constructed in 1895 and is presently used for formal events. I visited Hockwold Hall this passed weekend for a wedding to assist the main photographer, a one Peter Denness. Below are some of the photos taken of the main house and surrounding gardens.
Below is the Lawn where the wedding guests can socialise. The grounds of Hockwold are extensive, very well maintained and very well curated.
As mentioned above, Hockwold Hall hosts weddings with a choice of settings for the festivities. Below is the Garden Marquee, comes with the handsome bar man.
It doesn’t always come with the torrential rain. Hockwold has all of the touches of a fantastic stately home. If you are after a wonderful backdrop to a special occasion then Hockwold Hall should certainly be high on the list.
